The weather forecast couldn’t decide whether there was going to be driving rain or sunshine for St George’s Day at Wrag Barn. On the day, the sun shone, the birds sang and the club members showed huge support for our Junior Section, either taking part, buying raffle tickets or attempting to ‘beat the Junior’
The day was run up by our Junior Organiser, Alan Kavanagh with support from Brian Drane and this is how he summed up the day:
What an amazing day today thank you all for coming out and really supporting our junior fundraiser the St George’s Day team event.
Nearest the pin on 16 and beat the junior was a superb bit of fun and well done the 25 who managed it! Well done to Ollie (Junior Captain) and Louis (Junior Vice Captain) for beating the other 112
The results were as follows:
Nearest the pin on 16 were Katy Walls and Norman Jeffery.
